Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and accurately document patient condition and care provided
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning, and safe mobility
• Support feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting while preserving dignity and independence
• Communicate observations and changes in patient status promptly to the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• T-CNA credential if required by the facility (listed as acceptable in this opening)
• Minimum clinical experience preferred (facility will specify when applicable)
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care, ADLs, and safe transfer techniques
• Proficient with documentation and charting best practices
• Knowledgeable about infection prevention and standard precautions
• Able to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident dignity and comfort
