Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Assist nursing staff with basic clinical tasks and timely documentation
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights to promote comfort and safety

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated experience providing hands-on patient care, preferred
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts as needed

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of basic infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
• Familiarity with charting and basic electronic medical record entries
• Good observational skills to report changes in patient condition
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff
