Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
- Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Document patient interactions and care provided according to facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Authorization to work in California as required by state regulations
- Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Previous CNA experience is a plus but enthusiastic, well-trained new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completed state-approved CNA program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing care and patient safety practices
- Infection prevention and proper hygiene techniques
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication
- Basic charting and following care plans and instructions
