Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret advanced hemodynamic and ventilator parameters
• Administer medications and titrate drips per provider orders and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute care plans
• Perform timely assessments, document care, and communicate changes in condition
• Respond quickly to emergencies and participate in code or rapid response events
• Support patients' families with clear, compassionate communication and education

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred
• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience (clinical competency in ventilator care and hemodynamic monitoring)
• Comfortable with advanced cardiac life support and emergency response
• Excellent clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
• Proficiency with ventilator management and advanced airway care
• Medication administration and intravenous therapy expertise
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-acuity patients
• Collaborative approach to working with physicians, RTs, and support staff
