Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support daily living activities for patients
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding while preserving dignity
- Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention efforts
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Document patient care promptly and accurately in the record system
- Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights with professionalism
- Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and following care plans
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
- Basic vital sign assessment and documentation
- Infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Clear verbal and written communication with patients and teammates
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
