Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients on telemetry, interpreting cardiac rhythms and trends
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the shift
- Communicate clinical changes promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the chart
- Administer treatments and medications as ordered, following safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth transitions of care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (California preferred)
- Experience working on a telemetry unit (telemetry skill listed in role)
- Comfort with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced care settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition

- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Prioritization and time management in a per-diem environment
