Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and document resident condition, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and participate in care planning
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe care environment
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in good standing — required
- Travel LNA (T-LNA) credentials or willingness to obtain travel authorization — preferred
- CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Current TB test and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and resident care
- Comfortable with documentation and electronic charting systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Awareness of infection control standards and safe patient handling techniques
