Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and respond to telemetry readings with professionalism and urgency
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report significant changes to the care team promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on condition, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Prioritize patient safety and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California required
• Telemetry experience preferred; comfort with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility health requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Patient assessment and clinical prioritization
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Clear, concise clinical documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Infection control and patient safety practices
