Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiologic procedures with precision and care
- Provide attentive patient care during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Assist during Cath Lab special procedures and support the interventional team
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and proper use of protective equipment
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
- Document procedures and patient information accurately and timely
- Follow infection control and safety procedures when exposed to body fluids and chemicals
- Communicate clearly with patients and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Experience in Cath Lab special procedures and radiologic techniques
- One (1) year experience in an acute care facility preferred
- Ability to meet physical demands: standing, lifting with assistance, reaching, and dexterity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented mindset
Education
- Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current BLS certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Radiologic procedures and medical imaging techniques
- Cath Lab procedures and special imaging requirements
- Radiation safety principles and protective practices
- Patient care during imaging and interventional procedures
- Familiarity with infection control and handling of body fluids
- Comfortable operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
