Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy assessment and intervention across Livingston and Washtenaw Counties
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and functional outcomes
• Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective care
• Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists
• Participate in license and credential verification processes and maintain required health screenings

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license (verification required)
• BLS certification
• Experience using EPIC for documentation (familiarity preferred)
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required health screenings including 10-panel drug screen, TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA), immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, COVID-19) and fit test
• Professional, compassionate communication skills and ability to work across multiple county sites

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions in occupational therapy
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation workflows
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and care coordination
• Familiarity with infection control, respirator evaluation, and occupational health requirements
• Comfort completing competency-based testing and skills validation
