Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform complex clinical laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology accurately and efficiently
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures and laboratory safety protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytical and instrumentation issues when they arise
- Document results, quality control, and maintenance activities clearly and thoroughly
- Collaborate with clinicians and laboratory staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient results
- Participate in process improvement efforts to enhance lab operations and patient care
Qualifications
- Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required)
- Demonstrated experience performing testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology
- Proven ability to follow quality control procedures and laboratory safety standards
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- General laboratory procedures in chemistry and hematology
- Blood bank testing and safety practices
- Microbiology specimen processing and analysis
- Quality control principles and documentation
- Laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
- Instrument operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance
