Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and CTA studies independently, including Head, Carotids, Abdomen, Chest and Runoff
- Operate GE CT equipment safely and effectively, following manufacturer and facility protocols
- Provide compassionate, age-appropriate patient care and clear pre/post-procedure instructions
- Accurately document exams and findings in Meditech, Envision Connect and Centricity PACS
- Collaborate with radiology team and unit staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely results
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control and hospital-specific policies
- Prioritize quality and efficiency while maintaining patient comfort and safety
Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience (ability to scan independently)
- Proven CTA experience (Head, Carotids, Abdomen, Chest, Runoff)
- Proficiency with Meditech, Envision Connect and Centricity PACS
- Experience working with GE CT equipment
- Comfort working independently and with patients of all ages
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in CT and CTA protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Experienced with PACS workflows and electronic documentation systems
- Strong patient positioning and clinical assessment abilities
- Knowledgeable in radiation safety and contrast administration best practices
- Comfortable using GE imaging platforms and troubleshooting routine equipment issues
- Good communication and teamwork skills for a collaborative radiology environment
