Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts (typical shift 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), schedule varies including weekends; plus on-call (self-scheduling, approximately 7-8 call days per month)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens) to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation per protocol while collaborating with the clinical team
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using Merge to support continuity of care
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field and equipment for interventional procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs during advanced procedures such as TAVR, TEER, EP, and Impella support
- Respond to emergencies confidently using ACLS and BLS training to support patient outcomes
- Participate in unit quality initiatives and equipment checks to keep the lab running efficiently
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in radiology or cath lab settings
- Demonstrated experience with cath lab circulation and moderate sedation
- Comfortable with advanced cath lab procedures such as LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, and peripheral interventions
- Ability to document in Merge (experience preferred)
- Professionalism, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a 4-person per case team environment
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent (preferred)
- ARRT (R) certification as listed in qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
- Familiarity with Merge documentation system
- Strong patient monitoring and moderate sedation skills
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and peri-procedural care
- Equipment setup and sterile technique for interventional radiology
- Team-oriented mindset and effective communication in fast-paced procedural settings
