Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of cardiac catheterization procedures including PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC and PCI with professionalism and attention to patient safety
• Support interventional and IR cases as needed, including neuro procedures when required
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as Philips and Siemens systems during procedures
• Accurately document procedures and patient data in Meditech and MacLab
• Maintain radiation safety and imaging best practices, including proper use of panning x-ray table when indicated
• Provide clear communication and compassionate care to patients and families throughout their episode of care
• Mentor and educate junior staff and students to promote a strong, knowledgeable team

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant cath lab/interventional experience
• ARRT certification required
• RCIS certification required and experience with panning x-ray table
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Comfortable with Philips and Siemens imaging systems and Meditech/MacLab documentation
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend cases
• Strong teamwork and teaching mindset to support unit staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on interventional cath lab skills (PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR)
• Electrophysiology (EP) and neuro case experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Meditech and MacLab electronic medical records
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging platforms
• Radiation safety practices and operation of panning x-ray table
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment and mentor others
