Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating nights including weekends (must work at least 4 weekends per schedule period)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing for ICU patients, monitoring condition and intervening promptly
- Manage ventilators, advanced hemodynamic monitoring and infusion therapies with confidence
- Perform and assist with procedures common to the unit such as central line and arterial line care, intubation support, and EVD patient care
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Communicate clearly with patients and families during stressful situations while maintaining compassion and professionalism
- Participate in unit-based policies, safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) credential
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (critical care background required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Comfort with neuro and oncology ICU patient populations is a plus
- Skilled in central line/A-line care and airway management (intubation experience preferred)
- Ability to work night shifts and the required weekend schedule for this assignment
- Team player with strong accountability and caring bedside manner
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and triage skills
- Familiarity with standard ICU equipment and monitoring
- Competence in ventilator management and hemodynamic support
- Procedure support skills: central line, arterial line, intubation, EVD care
- Proficient documentation and charting in Meditech
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in high-acuity settings
