Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients thoroughly and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic procedures and modalities to restore strength and mobility
- Work to improve range of motion, coordination, body alignment, and function
- Manage pain control strategies and track patient progress
- Collaborate with referring physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes
- Document treatments clearly and operate in accordance with the State Practice Act
Qualifications
- Current CA Physical Therapist License (required)
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients under physician orders
- Comfort using a variety of therapeutic procedures and modalities
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Willingness to work full-time day schedules as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient evaluation and assessment expertise
- Designing and implementing treatment programs
- Proficient with therapeutic procedures and modalities
- Restoring muscle strength, improving range of motion and coordination
- Techniques for body alignment, movement improvement, and pain control
- Familiarity with State Practice Act requirements
