Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients using continuous cardiac monitoring and frequent assessments
- Administer and titrate IV medications and drips safely and according to unit protocols
- Perform thorough patient assessments every four hours and escalate changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate post-op and trauma care
- Provide compassionate patient- and family-centered care for surgical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients
- Document care accurately in the EMR (Meditech) and maintain clear handoffs
- Support unit flow by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers when needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (required)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (telemetry/PCU or similar preferred)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification preferred
- Comfortable with telemetry monitoring, IV/drip management, and cardiac patient care
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
- Experience with Meditech is a plus
- Trauma or orthopedic experience preferred but not required
Education
- Active RN license (required)
- ADN or BSN in Nursing preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
- IV medication and heparin/vasoactive drip management
- Post-operative and trauma patient care principles
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR workflows
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members
- Adaptability to changing patient care needs and unit demands
