Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality X-ray and CT imaging studies with accuracy and efficiency
- Operate imaging equipment safely while following established protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication during procedures
- Ensure images and documentation meet quality standards for diagnosis
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Illinois Radiologic Technologist license required
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology
- CRP Certification (as listed) required
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer knowledge for image capture and charting
- Good interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and ability to follow instructions
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
Education
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
Knowledge & Skills
- X-ray imaging techniques
- Computed Tomography (CT) operation
- Patient positioning and patient care best practices
- Radiological technology principles and safety
- Basic computer literacy for imaging systems and documentation
- Strong communication, teamwork, and sound clinical judgment
- Ability to follow one- and two-step instructions accurately
- Basic math for measurements and calculations
