Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and durable support
- Assist nursing staff with daily clinical and non-clinical tasks to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain a clean, respectful environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening as required
- Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
- Previous CNA experience preferred; enthusiastic new grads are welcome to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of basic patient care, hygiene, and mobility assistance
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
- Familiarity with infection control, safety procedures, and proper documentation
- Compassionate bedside manner and attention to detail
