Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care while maintaining safety and dignity
• Perform thorough assessments and develop focused care plans tailored to each patient
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the patient chart
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to coordinate excellent outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when needed
• Maintain compliance with policies, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred
• Previous clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty preferred
• Ability to pass background check and meet workplace health requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Comfortable working independently on per diem assignments and adapting quickly

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment skills and clinical judgment in adult patient care
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Accurate documentation and charting in electronic medical records
• Infection control practices and patient safety focus
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate patient and family education skills
