Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams with technical excellence and compassion to support early detection
• Operate mammography equipment safely and accurately, ensuring high-quality image capture
• Follow ACR and MQSA standards for image quality, documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Lead and participate in mammography quality assurance activities to maintain program integrity
• Provide patient education and comfort measures, fostering a positive, respectful patient experience
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the clinical team to optimize workflow and patient care

Qualifications

• ARRT certification with advanced mammography credentials (required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with mammography quality assurance and image documentation
• Strong patient communication skills and commitment to compassionate care
• Familiarity with ACR and MQSA standards and documentation practices

Knowledge & Skills

• Screening mammography techniques and patient positioning
• Operation and routine maintenance of mammography equipment
• QA processes for mammography and image quality assessment
• Understanding and applying ACR and MQSA standards
• Proficient documentation and communication with radiology teams
• Basic life support (BLS) and patient safety practices
