Shift Type: Variable 4x10 day schedule, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (day shift); schedule includes weekends as scheduled and may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs; minimum of 12 on-call days per 6-week cycle (call required)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist for cerebral and neuro-interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and OR protocol
- Prepare and operate fluoroscopy and angiography equipment for complex diagnostic and interventional cases
- Set up and manage vascular access procedures, including central venous access and port placements
- Support a broad IR caseload including ablations, biopsies, kyphoplasty, Y90 mapping/treatment, TACE and TIPS
- Perform portable C-arm procedures and assist with ultrasound-guided interventions
- Accurately document procedures and patient care in Epic to ensure continuity and quality
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Anticipate procedural needs, manage supplies/equipment, and help maintain a safe, efficient lab environment
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) post-2011 (required)
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology or strong neuro/IR experience (explicit requirement)
- Fluoroscopy experience and Fluoro Permit (required)
- Current California state radiologic technologist license (required); pending licenses are not accepted
- BLS certification (required)
- Comfort working with infants and pediatrics preferred
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (minimum of 12 call days per 6-week cycle)
- RTO (request time off) restrictions must be included at time of submission
Knowledge & Skills
- Fluoroscopy and angiography operation and safety
- Cerebral and neuro-interventional procedure workflow and scrub technique
- Central venous access and port management
- Experience with Epic charting
- Familiarity with PACS, Siemens, Philips and Toshiba imaging systems
- Portable C-arm operation and mobile imaging techniques
- Ultrasound guidance using Sonosite and Juniper systems
- Experience with embolization procedures, stent placement, TIPS and catheter interventions
- Competence in biopsies, ablations, kyphoplasty and oncologic mapping procedures
- Strong sterile technique, patient prep and peri-procedural monitoring
