Shift Type: 4x10 Day schedule, 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM (4 days/week; specific weekdays vary), Day shift. On-call requirement: one weekday and one weekend on-call per month.

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures as scrub tech and room circulator, maintaining a sterile field and patient safety
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment including C-arm and PACS to support physicians during procedures
- Prepare access sites and assist with angio suites procedures such as angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals and venous access
- Accurately document care and procedures in EPIC to ensure continuity and compliance
- Coordinate with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists to anticipate case needs and optimize workflow
- Perform equipment setup, sterile tray preparation, and instrument handling to maintain efficient room turnover
- Support a fast-paced IR department by adapting to varied procedures (biopsies, embolizations, IVC filters, stent placements)
- Participate in on-call duties as scheduled and communicate availability/RTO per submission requirements
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current Washington state license required
- BLS certification required
- IR/CV Certification preferred (strongly encouraged)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Interventional Radiology (first-timers accepted)
- Pending licenses are not accepted — active license required
- Ability to chart in EPIC and follow facility documentation protocols
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and include all RTO in submittal
Education
- Certifications required: ARRT (R) and BLS; Washington state license required
- IR/CV Certification preferred
- No specific degree specified in the posting; relevant radiologic technologist training and certification expected
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience with Interventional Radiology procedures and sterile technique
- Comfortable as scrub tech and room circulator; skilled with equipment setup and prep access sites
- Familiarity with PACS, C-Arm imaging, and EPIC charting
- Experience with Philips imaging systems (including biplane) and GE Hybrid/GE Innova IGS; knowledge of Siemens and Philips preferred
- Able to assist with angiography, nephrostomy, biopsies, ablations, embolizations, kyphoplasty and venous interventions
- Strong infection control practices and ability to maintain sterile field under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support multidisciplinary procedural teams
