Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
- Support safe mobility: transfer, ambulation, and positioning
- Provide compassionate companionship and observe changes in resident condition
- Record care and report observations promptly and accurately to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
- Help with meal assistance and hydration, honoring dietary needs and preferences
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable working with older adults and those with chronic conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus but not mandatory
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed GNA training program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic resident care and ADLs
- Safe transfer and body mechanics knowledge
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control and universal precautions
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed staff
