Shift Type: Per diem / Varied days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening, day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful direct care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to prevent falls
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the care team
- Help create a warm, home-like environment that promotes dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in North Carolina
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with diverse patient populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in long-term care or acute care environments is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic nursing care and infection prevention practices
- Skill in patient lifting, transfers, and safe body mechanics
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic charting basics
- Good observational skills to notice and report subtle changes in condition
- Customer-service mindset with patience and emotional resilience
