Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (specific days not specified; schedule set by facility)

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition
- Support safe mobility and transfers while following facility protocols
- Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- Valid CNA practice authorization for North Carolina or ability to obtain one
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a compassionate approach
- Prior experience in long term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused mindset
