Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shifts, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (day). Some assignments may use 10-hour day shifts totaling 40 hours/week. Occasional Saturdays possible. No on-call requirement.

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate IR suites and imaging systems including Philips Allura to ensure smooth, safe procedures
- Assist physicians during interventional cases such as angiography, stent placements, embolizations, neuro/endovascular procedures and GI/GJ tube placements
- Prepare and manage Medrad injector use and DR (PACS) imaging for high quality diagnostic images
- Provide compassionate patient care before, during and after procedures, collaborating closely with RNs and MDs
- Document procedures accurately in Cerner and maintain equipment, supplies and room readiness
- Follow Level I trauma protocols and contribute to a safe, efficient, high-acuity IR unit
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Arizona MRTBE-CRT license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; Level I trauma experience required
- VI certificate is a plus
- Scrub experience preferred
- Neuro/endovascular experience preferred but not required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent; ARRT (R) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Cerner electronic charting and DR (PACS) imaging workflows
- Hands-on experience with Philips Allura and Medrad injector
- Skilled in interventional procedures including angiography, embolizations, stent work, ports, GI/GJ tubes, nephrostomy tubes, lumbar punctures, myelograms, IVC filters and blood patches
- Comfortable assisting in neuro/endovascular and stroke treatment cases
- Strong teamwork, communication and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary procedural team
