Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every 3rd shift (EOH). Commonly 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; includes weekends and rotating coverage
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and implement individualized nursing care plans with confidence and compassion
- Administer medications and advanced interventions following ACLS and BLS protocols
- Perform trauma and emergency nursing responsibilities consistent with TNCC training
- Conduct stroke assessments and NIHSS evaluations accurately and promptly
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, patient-centered outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
- Participate in Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and skills checklists to maintain high standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (Iowa) required or compact RN with Iowa authorization where applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
- NIHSS certification or demonstrated competency in stroke assessment required
- Ability to pass Trinity specialty competency testing, skills checklist, and standard pre-employment screenings
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screening compliance (COVID-19, TB screening, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, etc.)
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in acute care settings
- Familiarity with stroke protocols and NIHSS stroke scale
- Trauma assessment skills in line with TNCC principles
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and prioritize care
- Clear communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams
- Accurate clinical documentation and electronic charting
