Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (overnight). Night coverage with 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms, interpreting ECG data accurately to support timely clinical decisions
- Manage high patient volumes calmly and efficiently — this unit averages 40+ patients per monitor tech
- Build end-of-shift reports and maintain accurate patient lists within the GE Carescape system
- Add and discharge patients in the GE Carescape monitoring system with attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and professionally with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone app
- Maintain a running call log and document escalations and interventions
- Multi-task across monitoring, reporting, and communications while maintaining composure in stressful situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (as listed on the job) — telemetry/remote monitoring experience preferred
- Previous travel experience working in remote monitoring is a must
- Telemetry competency and ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
- Proficient typing and basic computer skills
- Ability to operate an iPhone application for clinical communications
- Strong attendance record and reliable professional demeanor
- Ability to read, write and understand English clearly
- Preferred: CNA or cardiac nursing background, ECG-Board Certification, and previous GE monitoring experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- ECG interpretation and remote patient monitoring workflows
- Experience with GE Carescape monitoring systems
- High-volume patient monitoring and prioritization
- Accurate documentation and end-of-shift reporting
- Clear phone and app-based communication with clinical teams
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and stress management skills
