Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care and home-visit settings
- Deliver specialized treatments including hydrotherapy in the facility pool and pelvic health therapy
- Perform dry needling and implement LSVT Big and Loud programming for appropriate patients
- Assess, plan and carry out orthopedic, neurological and pediatric rehabilitation interventions
- Conduct local school visits and home care visits to support continuity of care in the community
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational and speech therapy colleagues, nursing and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress, develop individualized care plans, and communicate goals with patients and families
- Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives to support Sheridan County residents
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Montana or able to obtain Montana licensure
- Degree from an accredited physical therapy program (e.g., DPT preferred)
- Comfortable working across inpatient and outpatient settings, plus home and school visits
- Experience or training in hydrotherapy, pelvic health therapy, dry needling, LSVT Big and Loud is a strong plus
- Strong clinical reasoning, patient education, and documentation skills
- Current BLS/CPR (or willingness to obtain) and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hydrotherapy pool treatment planning and safety
- Pelvic health therapy approaches and hands-on techniques
- Dry needling technique and safety principles
- LSVT Big and Loud program application for Parkinson’s disease
- Orthopedic, neurological and pediatric rehabilitation interventions
- Effective interdisciplinary communication and community-focused care
- EMR documentation and outcome tracking
