Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for patients in inpatient and multi-site clinic settings
• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Administer anesthesia during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures with patient safety as the top priority
• Monitor and manage patients intraoperatively, adjusting care in response to vital signs and clinical status
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery, including pain control and immediate postoperative needs
• Document care accurately and promptly in EPIC EMR to ensure compliance and continuity
• Support staffing coverage needs across sites during periods of shortage
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other providers to deliver high-quality care
• Participate in credentialing, quality assurance, and safety initiatives to continuously improve practice

Qualifications

• Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Board certification must be current - candidates with lapsed board certification are not eligible
• Not accepting new graduates - prior clinical CRNA experience required (no minimum years specified)
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule with on-call and weekend coverage
• Ability to commute within approximately 1 hour; long-distance commuters and concurrent-job arrangements are not accepted
• Not open to Locum or Locum-to-Perm candidates
• Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in anesthesia care across perioperative phases: preoperative assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery
• Experience developing and implementing individualized anesthesia care plans
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and accurate clinical documentation
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to intraoperative changes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with credentialing, quality assurance, and safety protocols
• Flexibility to travel between clinic locations and adapt to multisite practice needs
