Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating nights, 6 days on / 7 days off; shifts alternate between 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; every 3rd weekend; minimal on-call (scheduled about once every 15 weeks)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT examinations using Siemens CT systems with patient safety and comfort as a top priority
- Operate and optimize CT protocols to produce diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure
- Document exams and findings accurately in Epic EMR and ensure images are properly archived
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to support efficient patient flow
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any technical concerns to biomedical services
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies to maintain a safe environment
- Provide clear, compassionate patient education and positioning to ensure excellent patient experience
Qualifications
- ARRT registration in the appropriate specialty (CT) required
- State of Ohio Radiology license required
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with Siemens CT systems
- Experience using Epic EMR required for documentation and workflow
- Ability to work evening/night blocked schedule and 6 on / 7 off rotation
- Comfort with occasional minimal on-call responsibilities
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficiency with Siemens CT scanners and system workflows
- Experience documenting and navigating Epic EMR
- Solid understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Skilled patient positioning and communication for diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with PACS/DICOM workflows and image quality assessment
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication and time management skills
