Shift Type: Day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (day shift); 8/10/12-hour day shift options—schedule varies (primarily weekdays) with on-call 4–5 times per month including one weekend per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
- Prepare patients and maintain sterile technique for procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Monitor hemodynamics and recognize/respond to acute changes in high-acuity patients
- Administer medications and advanced life support measures per protocols (ACLS/BLS)
- Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve quality, safety, and patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible to submit)
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (as specified)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Demonstrated Cardiac Cath Lab experience or strong acute care/cardiac background
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred/required
- Comfort working in a high-volume Level I Trauma hospital and managing multiple complex cases
Education
- Active RN license required
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient charting and documentation in Epic
- Strong assessment skills for cardiac and acute care patients
- Familiarity with Cath Lab equipment, sterile technique, and procedure workflows
- Ability to triage, prioritize, and act quickly in emergent situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments
- Basic trauma care and acute care knowledge applicable to a Level I Trauma center
