Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support functional mobility
- Implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence
- Monitor and accurately document patient progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active California COTA license required
- Current BLS certification required
- SNF experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and hands-on therapy skills
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and patient interaction
- Available to start ASAP and open to Full-Time, Contract, or PRN roles
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy approaches for SNF populations
- Assessment and training for ADLs and functional mobility
- Skilled documentation and progress tracking
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with PTs, nurses, and other clinicians
- Knowledge of facility and state regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and patient-centered care techniques
- Ability to follow treatment plans under OT supervision
