Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts (must be available all shifts), including 12-hour Day 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 12-hour Night 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 8-hour Day/Evening/Night shifts may also be assigned as needed. Variable schedule averaging 80 hours per 2-week period, schedule details and days vary (including weekends).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage, assess, and stabilize emergency patients quickly and effectively
• Administer treatments and medications safely, following hospital protocols
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record and communicate findings promptly
• Float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed, bringing flexibility and teamwork when the unit needs you most
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
• Participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives to improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — current, active license required
• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience (mandatory)
• Ability to work variable shifts, including 12-hour day and night rotations and occasional 8-hour shifts
• Willingness and ability to float to Long Term Care and ICU departments as needed
• Quick start availability and ability to meet the target start date as required by the contract

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt to changing schedules and unit needs
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
