Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and create individualized anesthesia plans
- Administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) across outpatient cases
- Monitor patients continuously during procedures and manage anesthesia-related events
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care and effective pain management
- Deliver airway management and emergency support as needed across the facility
- Care for patients across the lifespan — pediatrics through geriatrics and all ASA classes
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians and an experienced CRNA team
- Travel to nearby ambulatory sites as needed to support multi-site operations
Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential required
- Active nursing/anesthesia licensure or ability to obtain state licensure for practice
- Current, non-lapsed board certifications — no lapsed certifications or new graduates
- Experience in ambulatory/outpatient anesthesia preferred, including MAC, regional and general anesthesia
- Strong airway management and patient monitoring skills across age groups
- Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced outpatient surgery center
- Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates (opportunities available for sponsored candidates)
- Willingness to travel locally to multiple ambulatory sites; not suitable for >1 hour commute
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and CRNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in anesthesia administration: regional, general and monitored anesthesia care
- Pre- and post-anesthesia assessment and individualized care planning
- Advanced airway management and perioperative patient monitoring
- Pain management strategies for ambulatory surgical patients
- Comfort with pediatric and geriatric anesthesia considerations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, physicians and perioperative teams
- Experience in high-volume ambulatory settings and multi-site coverage
