Shift Type: Sunday & Monday (Inpatient) and Tuesday-Thursday (Outpatient), 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient physical therapy care using evidence-based practice
- Assess patients and create individualized plans of care (evaluation, short- and long-term goals, reassessments)
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy, gait training, balance and mobility interventions, and aquatic therapy when appropriate
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe transfers to support long-term recovery
- Document evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and plan of care accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care across settings
- Maintain and manage treatment equipment and assistive devices to ensure safe, effective therapy
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture by mentoring colleagues and supporting workflow improvements
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience preferred (posting notes 1 year preferred but will consider less than a year)
- BLS certification preferred
- Manual therapy certification preferred
- Spanish speaking clinicians preferred but not required
- Comfort and competence working across outpatient clinic and inpatient (acute/rehab) settings
- Willingness to occasionally float to the acute inpatient side as needed
- Experience with orthopedics, post-op care (TKA/THA, RCR, spinal surgeries), neurological conditions (CVA, Parkinson's, TBI) is a strong fit
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in manual therapy and musculoskeletal assessment (AROM/AAROM/PROM)
- Experience with gait training, balance, assistive devices (crutches, walkers) and transfers
- Familiarity with aquatic therapy and hydrotherapy modalities
- Comfort with documentation: evaluations, POCs, reassessments and discharges
- Ability to identify environmental barriers and educate patients/families
- Modalities knowledge including cryotherapy and rehab equipment handling
- Strong time management and caseload prioritization skills
- Patient-centered communication and teaching skills, including family education
