Shift Type: Rotating nights and weekend coverage: Night call shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sunday rotating 24-hour coverage in 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts (night and weekend rotations)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across a wide range of surgical and procedural cases in a Level I Trauma Center
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
- Administer anesthesia and manage intraoperative patient monitoring to ensure safety
- Deliver post-anesthesia care and effective pain management
- Document all patient encounters accurately in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams
- Participate in scheduled night and weekend call coverage and respond within required response times
- Support staffing needs to maintain high-quality patient care during periods of shortage
Qualifications
- Current CRNA license and active, non-lapsed Board Certification (no lapsed certification candidates)
- Experience providing anesthesia in an inpatient Level I Trauma Center environment
- Proven experience with night and weekend call coverage
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR for clinical documentation
- No new graduate or recently lapsed-board candidates (experienced providers only)
- Not open to Locum or Locum-to-Perm candidates; must be able to work onsite and locally (no >1 hour commute)
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in anesthesia administration and intraoperative monitoring
- Strong skills in pre-anesthesia assessment and post-anesthesia care
- Experience managing trauma anesthesia and high-acuity cases
- Pain management techniques and multimodal analgesia
- Solid clinical documentation practices in EPIC
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary perioperative teams
- Effective decision-making and rapid response while on-call
