Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care safely and effectively
- Monitor patients continuously during procedures and proactively manage anesthesia-related issues
- Provide attentive post-anesthesia care and multimodal pain management
- Deliver airway management services as needed to ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with policies and regulations
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia colleagues across ambulatory sites
- Care for patients across age ranges and ASA classifications, including pediatrics and geriatrics
Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential with active board certification (no lapsed certifications)
- Current, unrestricted credentialing as required to practice at the facility
- Not a new graduate — seeking experienced practitioners
- Not open to Locum or Locum-to-Perm candidates
- Able and willing to travel between ambulatory sites when necessary (candidates who prefer commutes longer than 1 hour are not a fit)
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
Education
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential with active board certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in anesthesia administration: general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
- Strong airway management and patient monitoring skills
- Competence in pre- and post-anesthesia assessment and multimodal pain management
- Comfort working in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment with varied case mix
- Experience with clinical documentation and adherence to regulatory standards
- Ability to care for pediatric and geriatric patients across a broad ASA range
- Team-oriented mindset and effective collaboration with surgeons and perioperative staff
- Flexibility to support multiple ambulatory sites as needed
