Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety
• Follow established protocols for radiation safety and infection control at all times
• Document procedures and maintain patient records in the Meditech EMR
• Perform quality control checks on GE imaging equipment and report any issues promptly
• Assist in triaging imaging needs during busy periods and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology technologist experience preferred
• Experience with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR strongly preferred
• RT (T), ASRT or FASRT credentials are a plus
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated patient care experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to perform CT scans, and familiarity with MRI, X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures
• Hands-on experience with GE scanners and imaging systems
• Comfortable using Meditech for documentation and charting
• Strong anatomical and medical imaging knowledge to support accurate diagnostics
• Mechanical aptitude for routine equipment QC and troubleshooting
• Ability to multitask and collaborate with physicians, radiologists and nursing staff
