Shift Type: Rotating night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights); schedule includes every-other-weekend coverage and required on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage emergency patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
- Initiate and manage life-saving interventions following BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC protocols
- Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient care thoroughly in Meditech to ensure clear continuity
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the care team to coordinate rapid, effective treatment plans
- Educate patients and families with compassion about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up
- Participate in unit call responsibilities and assist with fluctuating patient volumes
Qualifications
- Active RN license — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with 2+ years of specialty ER experience
- NIH required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- TNCC required
- Meditech experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency department assessment and triage skills
- Proficient use of Meditech electronic documentation
- Comfortable managing critical care scenarios and pediatric emergencies
- Excellent critical thinking and decisive judgment under pressure
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and teammates
- Time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced ER environment
- Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to floating as needed
