Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and sterile instrument trays, ensuring everything is set for safe, efficient cases
- Assist surgeons during procedures across ortho, spine and laparoscopic specialties
- Operate and support advanced surgical systems such as Da Vinci, Mako and Stryker equipment
- Maintain strict sterile technique and uphold OR safety protocols every case, every time
- Document case details and instrument counts accurately using the Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes
- Support turnover between cases to keep the day on schedule and patient care seamless
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- BLS, NBSTA and DORA certifications required (candidates without these will not be considered)
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience preferred
- Experience with ortho and spine procedures, plus exposure to robotic and navigation systems (Da Vinci, Mako, Globus) is highly valued
- Comfortable with laparoscopic cases and Stryker equipment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced perioperative environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong sterile technique and instrumentation knowledge
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR for documentation and case logging
- Experience with surgical robots and orthopedic systems (Da Vinci, Mako, Globus, Stryker)
- Ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and work closely with surgeons and OR staff
- Detail-oriented approach to counts, safety checks and infection control
