Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night shift); schedule includes nights and requires working at least 4 weekends per schedule period
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate ICU nursing care for critically ill patients in the neuro/medical ICU
- Perform and assist with advanced procedures such as central line and arterial line placement and intubation safely and confidently
- Provide focused care for patients with EVDs and collaborate with core teams for specialty needs
- Use Meditech EMR to document assessments, interventions, and interdisciplinary communication accurately
- Monitor invasive lines, ICU equipment, and patient status to detect and act on changes quickly
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other team members to coordinate complex care plans
- Support unit culture by being accountable, caring, and a reliable team player on every shift
Qualifications
- Current RN license (eligible to practice in the state of assignment)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience (this role requires ICU experience)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Comfortable with ICU procedures and equipment including central line/A-line care, intubation, and EVD care
- Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred
- Oncology and neuro ICU experience are a plus and will make your application stand out
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care assessment and monitoring skills for unstable patients
- Hands-on familiarity with standard ICU equipment and monitoring systems
- Procedure competency or experience: central lines, arterial lines, intubation, and EVD care
- Clinical documentation skills using Meditech
- Strong teamwork, communication, and accountability in fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage 2:1 patient ratios and prioritize complex care needs
