Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and PCI procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Prepare, maintain and troubleshoot Cath/EP lab equipment and supplies, including sterile setup and device tray organization
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in MacLab and other documentation systems
• Provide direct patient monitoring during procedures, including hemodynamic assessment and timely communication of changes
• Support EP studies, ablations and device implants with expert instrumentation and team coordination
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond effectively to emergent Cath cases
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and ancillary staff to deliver seamless, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• ARRT or RCIS certification with RTR license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath/EP lab or related cardiovascular setting
• Proven proficiency in Cath/EP procedures and familiarity with MacLab documentation
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in required call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization and PCI techniques
• EP studies, ablation procedures and device implants
• Cath Lab and EP Lab workflow and sterile technique
• MacLab documentation system experience
• Strong patient monitoring and emergency response skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
