Shift Type: Rotating nights (schedule varies), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; includes night shifts and 2 weekends per pay period

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert critical care to patients in the Burn/Trauma/Surgical ICU, maintaining high standards of safety and compassion
- Manage complex critical care equipment and interventions, including EVDs and massive transfusion protocols
- Perform advanced wound care and participate in interdisciplinary care planning to optimize patient outcomes
- Respond effectively in codes and emergency situations, acting with calm and decisive leadership
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate clearly with the care team and families
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios (typically 2:1 for ICU) and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the unit team, offer support to colleagues, and assist with safe patient transfers and discharges
Qualifications
- Active RN license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care experience (experience in Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU strongly preferred)
- BSN preferred
- CCRN preferred
- Comfortable with Meditech EMR and critical care equipment
- Ability to work night shifts and meet weekend coverage requirements
- Team-oriented, strong communication and critical thinking skills
Education
- Active RN license (required)
- BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles and ICU protocols
- Experience with wound care, EVD management, codes, and massive transfusion protocols
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR for documentation and charting
- Ability to manage critical care equipment and monitors with confidence
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
- Comfort managing a typical ICU patient ratio of 2:1
