Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to deliver reliable patient results
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with precision and care
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure consistent performance
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media accurately to support testing workflows
• Maintain clear, accurate records of test results and manage data within the LIS
• Follow SOPs and laboratory safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to support quality patient care
• Participate in quality control activities to uphold testing accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or in a similar clinical laboratory role
• Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Experience with blood sampling, sample processing, reagent preparation, and lab equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and accurate data management
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to quality control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with clinical teams
• Phlebotomy experience or prior hospital setting experience is a plus
• Ability to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to starting (relocation required)

• Hands-on laboratory testing techniques across hematology, chemistry and microbiology
