Location: Clemson, SC
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day). No weekend rotation. Meal break: 30 minutes.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess pediatric and/or adult patients' speech, language, cognition and swallowing function using evidence-based tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans that set clear, measurable goals and improve communication outcomes
- Provide direct therapy sessions and adapt approaches to each patient’s strengths and needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, teachers or family members to coordinate care
- Document progress clearly and timely in the medical record, ensuring continuity of care
- Educate patients, families and caregivers on strategies to carry over therapy gains to everyday life
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working as an SLP, pediatric experience a plus (Class: P-SLP indicated)
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills, with excellent documentation habits
- Clear communication and teamwork skills; comfortable collaborating in a multidisciplinary setting
- Able to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing assessment techniques
- Experience with individualized treatment planning and progress measurement
- Familiarity with evidence-based pediatric SLP approaches (per Class: P-SLP)
- Skilled in caregiver education and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Good clinical documentation and use of electronic health records
- Comfortable with a caseload that may include varied ages and diagnoses
