Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team members
- Support restorative and comfort measures that improve quality of life
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
- T-CNA certification listed as primary/acceptable classification
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfort working overnight hours and providing consistent, reliable care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (typical requirement for CNA roles)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and bedside skills, with attention to dignity and respect
- Familiarity with ADLs, transfers, and safe patient handling techniques
- Good communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation
- Basic understanding of infection control and standard precautions
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
