Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Day shift with weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve patients' independence and daily function
- Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document patient assessments, progress, and outcomes clearly and timely in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, safety, and home programs
- Participate in weekend rotation to maintain continuity of care and coverage
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered program development
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont or ability to obtain VT licensure
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work daytime hours and participate in scheduled weekend rotation
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in occupational therapy assessments, ADL training, and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Experience with therapeutic activity planning and activity tolerance progression
- Familiarity with common documentation systems and outcomes tracking
- Skilled in patient and family education and discharge planning
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
