Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents to improve daily living and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document interventions clearly
- Perform timely assessments and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow individualized care plans
- Support resident mobility, personal hygiene and nutrition with dignity and respect
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete required documentation on time
- Participate in safety and quality initiatives to enhance resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (applicable to role you are applying for)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience in long-term care, rehab or skilled nursing preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program (LPN diploma or RN diploma/associate/BSN as applicable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and clinical assessment
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Skilled at managing time, prioritizing tasks and multitasking in a busy environment
- Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
